Starting the Final Task: AICE Media Studies

Intro and Group:


Hello. It is now the time to work on the final project of this class. I am Joseph Gonzalez and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. I am a sophomore about halfway through the school year. I am taking this class and will be working on this project with not just myself but another student. Skye Kallus Hill and I will be working on this together. We have decided that instead of working alone, we should work together. Working together always seems to work in our favor.  Previously, we managed to do well on our last project together. I have known Skye for a long time. So our ability to work and understand each other is high as we have experience with projects like these. The main reason why we are working together is so we can come up with a better product. As the saying goes, great mind think alike. We see media similarly. This will help us come up with ideas during our final task. We have also experienced similar types of media. There are some shows and movies that we have both watched. This will give us an edge as we can understand each other and come up with what we want to do. We also have a good work ethic. Things will get done a lot faster as we work together. This will give us time to focus more on refining our plan. Hopefully things go well and skye and I will do well together.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. The angle is also different where it's on the side instead. I also don't kneel and just put my hands on my head and my knee...

Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
