AICE Media Studies: Storyboard for my Nike Air Jordan Commercial



 First Scene: For this scene, I will be filming a close up shot of the Nike Air Jordans. The person wearing them will be running across the court to the basketball and make a play. This will last about 5 seconds.

Second Scene: The next scene will have the person be guarded by two people. As they try to stop the person, the person gets past both of them, something difficult to do in basketball. They then take a open shot and make a basketball. This score is the game winner. This will last about 7-10 seconds.

Third scene: The person who won walks off the court to a bench. The opposing player is then zoomed in on and comments on how good the person is. The person then walks away and into the camera and is no longer visible. This will last about 5 seconds.

Fourth Scene: The winner sits down at a bench. He drinks from a water bottle and stands up. The camera is pointed towards his side. He stands up and looks at the camera. He then comments on how its the shoes and you can ball like Michael Jordan. This will last about 10 seconds.

Fifth Scene: The camera cuts back to the court. The person makes a play and then shoots the ball, while the defender tries to contest his shot. The shot goes in and zooms in on the shoes. This will last about 10 seconds.

Sixth Scene: The final scene has the camera fade the logo in. This lasts about 5 seconds.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. The angle is also different where it's on the side instead. I also don't kneel and just put my hands on my head and my knee...

Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
