AICE Media Studies: Filming for my Music Video.

 Filming:

    I am back from my thanksgiving break. Although we planned to film and record over the break, my partner had issues. They were out of town for the majority of break and came back today. Throughout the break though, I made sure we were ready to film. I checked the beach and the conditions are not optimal as there are tons of people still around and since there is a pandemic, we do not want to risk ourselves getting sick. My partner also needs to get tested as they went out town and we don't wanna risk it. I also need someone to take me and my parents can't during the weekdays as they have work. Even though these conditions aren't optimal, we still had to make sure everything is ready. I checked for the props and got them for the film and I went over the storyboard and location. My partner will hopefully know what to do as well and hopefully is healthy. Throughout this week, me and my partner will finalize plans for our music video. We cannot work during the school week as we have school work. I also need my parents to take me. But they are unavailable during the school week. This leaves the weekends to be the only option to film. So for the school week, as said before we will finalize our plans and gather our props. When the weekend comes, we will check the beach to make sure it is sparsely populated so we can limit exposure to the virus. We will then film and record our music video. I will then edit our video and finally finish our music video. Hopefully things go according to plan and we can make our music video at the beach.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. The angle is also different where it's on the side instead. I also don't kneel and just put my hands on my head and my knee...

Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
