AICE Media Studies: Introduction for Riptide Music Video

 Intro Blog: 

    Hello. Today is the start of my Music video project. I will consisting of one other person. I will be working with my friend Skye Kallus Hill. Skye is a reliable and trustworthy partner. He can guarantee that he'll give his best effort in completing the project. I can trust that he will show up and help with the blogs. Together, we have decided to work together as a team. I have known him for a while and we will get along quite well. After discussing the project, we have picked our song. We will use the song Riptide by Vance Joy for our music video. We have picked this song for a few reasons. It is a favorite of mine and Skye seems to also like it. It is also clean and has no bad message. The message is also clear to understand and interpret. The song is also made by a popular artist Vance Joy. He is known for making popular and liked songs. This song is also a classic. With these reasons, we believe this is the best song we could pick. I look forward to working with Skye in creating a music video.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
