AICE Media Studies: Nike Air Jordan Commercial




Nike Air Jordan Commercial:

This is my very first commercial. I have spent a long time developing it. From researching it and planning, all the way to filming, it is finally complete. I looked over it to make sure it was good. I am just starting to film and this is my first every film. Some things may not be the best. There are definitely improvements I can make once looking over it. However, I still need to develop my skills. I can improve my editing as some scenes are cut too early or late. My acting also needs work. I also need to find friends that can help me act as my parents aren't necessarily the greatest actors but it's okay. In the future, I will look back on this. I will see where I could've done differently. I will hopefully down the line improve my skills. It will take awhile but I will get there. As this is my first project, I am proud that I produced some kind of product. Filming isn't my specialty. However is was fun. I look forward to making more films in the future. Thank you.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. The angle is also different where it's on the side instead. I also don't kneel and just put my hands on my head and my knee...

Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
