AICE Media Studies: Filming for my music video project

 Filming:

As the week is almost over, so is my video. Although I had originally planned a few things to do this week, not much was done. This week I have had a ton of homework as our midterms are coming and my teachers are preparing us for them. I had said on my last blog that I would at least purchase the props needed for our video. However, this did not happen due to a few issues. School work for me personally has been tough and a lot of my time is focused on other classes as they are giving us more work. This leaves me with little time to work on and further plan out the video with my partner. Also, my partner hasn't communicated with me very well. He seems to be focused on other things as well. He also is probably doing a lot more homework too. Another issue is family issues that are personal. I also haven't had the time to go out and purchase the props and clothes needed for our video. My parents work the whole week except weekends. Because of this, I plan to purchase and film our video on the weekend. Hopefully nothing unexpected happens before hand. I also plan to talk more to my partner. We will talk about the video more. We will finalize our plans. Not much has been communicated between me and my partner though. Hopefully by Friday me and my partner talk more about the video and finally know what to do and where.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
