 Hello again. I am back from my spring break. Over the break, me and my partner got some work done. We managed to gather the majority of the film while on break. We plan to gather the rest over the period of this week. Then, I'll edit all of the film and finally finish the project. For filming, I first gathered all of the filming for the first location of the film, which was my house. I did this by myself with only a tripod to hold my phone to film. All the angles and scenes were able to be captured by only this which was the first step. This was completed on Friday. The next day at 2:00, me, my partner, and my friend who was helping out went to the next location, which was the actual court. From there, I played a little basketball before they arrived. Once they did, my partner was the main one holding the camera and filming, as he appeared only once in the scenes. I was the main actor so I played the role of Michael. Update to the last blog. My tripod is still being picked out. I haven't decided which one yet. Over this weekend, I will go to the store and look for one. Speaking of this weekend, I will decide to film on Sunday. Spring break is here. School is closed tomorrow and the week after. This is a perfect time to do all of my filming. I have little school work so this gives me plenty of time to work. I only have to study a little as exams are coming up. Other than that, now's the time to film and edit. I plan on getting the first few scenes by myself. I will then have my partner and I meet up. We will meet at the court as planned and film the last scenes. Other than that, we will be done. Later, we'll edit together and finish the project. This shouldn't take too long as long as nothing unplanned happens. I am personally looking forward to this spring break.  Hello again. Last weekend, I was able to determine what tripod I want. It is a simple 50 in. tripod. This will be big enough for filming. It will help me do stationary positions. Sometimes hand-held camera movements don't capture what we need. It is sometimes shaky and jagged when it comes to filming. A tripod will help with this. It will also help me filming by myself. The first few scenes might not have anyone else but me. This includes filming so a tripod would help. It would allow me to take a few scenes that I can. Another thing I have planned is the car scene. I think for realism in the film, I should have the car moving instead of being still. This of course could be dangerous. So to prevent any accidents, my mother will drive. She has her license and is reliable. So this will all take place on spring break as I have plenty of time and my partner gets back.

      So far nothing much has changed. I have began getting ready on what I need. This includes equipment and what not. I am looking into getting a tripod for some scenes. This will be useful. It will keep the camera steady while filming. Hand-held camera is sometimes unreliable. A tripod would be useful to have to film. Another thing we'll need is probably some clothing. A jersey of some kind would let people know what this character represents. For example, a Jordan jersey would show someone is good or a bandwagon. Another thing is a basketball. We need the prop to represent the film. It is a basketball film after all. I already have one but will bring another. This is so incase we lose it during filming. All of these things should be done relatively soon. Things may change of course. Hopefully things go according to plan. I should have these by this weekend. We should be ready to film on spring break.

 Hello. I am back here again. In my previous blog, I explained the plan me and my group have when filming. I planned to film last weekend on Saturday and Sunday. However, this was not the case. I had other things to do. Homework for other classes were due. Because of this, I had to focus most of my time onto that instead. When I finally did finish, I didn't do much besides go over the plan for filming. So I wasn't able to do any actual filming over the weekend. I still have time though. Considering spring break is coming up next week, I will definitely be able to film. School will be off and I won't have much homework. This would give me necessary time to film for the final task. So I am planning to film my parts of the film this weekend. If this weekend I am unable to film, I simply change when I will. This will be next weekend or during spring break. My partner also will be able help film once spring break comes. They will be back in town and we'll be ready to film. U...

 So far, nothing much has changed. Me and my partner just recently finished planning and could not meet up today. I am planning to record the scenes that just include me on my own this weekend. I am doing this so we get it out of the way. Things may change though. My partner is currently near the beach and can't come to my area. Hopefully he returns back to his house after it is fixed. So until then, we can't complete some scenes. The scenes we can't include the ones at the court. These scenes require all 3 of us. He can't come so we have to wait. We will eventually meet up when he returns. A issue that may arise is my helper not being able to come. He might have to do other things. I'll have to change some things. I might have to change who is going to be the other person or the scene itself. Hopefully things go according to plan. Until then, I'll just have to wait until this weekend.   Storyboard: The storyboard was a little challenging to make considering this was our first time writing such a long one. And also because of the fact that writing and drawing places you've seen in real life can be tricky and weird. Among other things, it was do-able and is pretty interesting. Over all this storyboard looks better than our previous storyboards and we are happy to have made.

  Schedule: 3/07/21-3/0/21: This day, filming will begin. I will film all the shots that contain the main character Michael playing basketball at his house in the first few scenes. I will then record the car scene with Michael, which will be the scenes afterwards, which should be scenes 4 and 5.
