Planning for the final task: location, health, schedule and more: AICE Media Studies

 Schedule:

3/07/21-3/0/21: This day, filming will begin. I will film all the shots that contain the main character Michael playing basketball at his house in the first few scenes. I will then record the car scene with Michael, which will be the scenes afterwards, which should be scenes 4 and 5. The last 5 scenes will be at the basketball court with all characters. 

03/14/21-03/15/21: Incase I don't finish filming in the previous week, I will finish what's left to do afterwards this weekend. This would include all the scenes.

03/20/21-03/21/21: I will edit all of the film we obtained. Film Market studios is where they will be uploaded and edited at to piece the film together. 

03/28/21-03/29/21: If editing was not finished, we will finish it this weekend. We will peer review the film and make any changes if necessary and submit to Cambridge once done with the filming and editing process. We will also do the reflection questions.

Location:

There will 3 locations, two of which can have a picture because the other will be in a moving car and might not be a finite location.

Health and Safety

To make sure while filming we are safe, Joseph's parents will be supervising  to act as a safety team and has access to a phone to dial 911 and a first aid kit.

The scenes that have the participants playing basketball may result in injury as explosive movements will occur. A first aid kit is here just in case.

The car scene will have the participants wearing seatbelts just in case. 911 will be called incase something happens.

 Hello. This will be my last blog updating my progress. The last blog will be the movie itself. I managed to finish everything that needed be done. All of the footage is put together and edited properly to fit most of the storyboard. I did have to change some thing though. Firstly, I had to take out some scenes. This was because the movie would be too long and pass the 2 minute mark. Some of the scenes taken out were in the car scene where instead of having the car moving, the car is still. The scenes are only taken from the side as nobody is in the front. The next scene at the court is also different as less angles of the court were taken because it would make the movie too long. It was also quicker too leading into the next page of the storyboard. Scene 5 was changed where instead of me falling, I just tried to block him instead. He makes the shot still. The angle is also different where it's on the side instead. I also don't kneel and just put my hands on my head and my knee...

Production Blog for my final task: Last footage: AICE Media Studies

 Hello again. From my previously blog, I talked about what footage we gathered and the next time we planned to film. However, things changed. My partner and friend had to work on the day we were supposed to film. And even though we put the day back one of them still had to work. This meant that we couldn't film. So instead we are going to file day, on on Sunday where everyone is off work. So before Sunday, I will gather footage for my car scenes. That way, we'll have all the footage of the movie. Afterwards, I will move on. We will finish up the last steps of the final task. We will take all of the footage and edit it to make our movie. I will mainly do most of the editing. My partner will help me if needed as of right now. Editing the film shouldn't take too long. I do have a little experience from my previous projects. So I have some understanding of editing a film.
